I dag ble Al-Jolani-regjeringens forsvarsdepartementsbygning i Syria målrettet av krigsfly fra den okkuperende sionistiske hæren. Netanyahu og det sionistiske regimets krigsminister har truet med at hvis Jolani-regjeringen fortsetter å insistere på å utplassere sine sikkerhetsstyrker i de sørlige regionene, vil de påføre Syria hardere slag. Israel har tydelig uttalt at Sør-Syria tilhører oss, og at ingen unntatt dets pårørende, nemlig druserne, skal være bevæpnet i regionen.
Jolani-regjeringen har gjentatte ganger uttalt de siste åtte månedene at den ønsker fred med Israel. Den dro til og med til Emiratene og møtte og forhandlet med sionistiske tjenestemenn. Noen kilder har bekreftet at Jolani til og med er villig til å ignorere spørsmålet om det okkuperte Golan. Siden den første dagen av dannelsen av denne regjeringen har imidlertid sionistene intensivert bombingen av Syria og har åpent rettet seg mot Syrias suverenitet, uavhengighet og integritet. De erklærer høylytt at de ikke vil tillate at Syria forblir samlet.
Al-Jolani og hans naive støttespillere klappet lykkelig da Sør-Libanon ble bombardert, uten å tro at sionistene ville komme dem til unnsetning så snart.
Fred er underkastelse – motstand er den eneste veien
Israel vil ikke vise nåde til noen nasjon i regionen – ikke engang de som har valgt fredens vei i stedet for motstand. Tvert imot er fremtiden til slike feige og ydmykede nasjoner svært mørk og håpløs. Den eneste veien for nasjonene i regionen er motstandens vei.
Fred i den sionistiske ordboken betyr ydmykelse og ødeleggelse av den andre sidens uavhengighet.
Dette er deres politikk. Og dette er sionismens skitne og urene natur.
Israel is playing with various pieces to destabilize and thereby legitimize its presence and occupation of large parts of southern Syria. During the 2011 fall of the Assad government, they used a wide and varied range of terrorist groups to ruin Syria’s national unity and weaken both the central government and the Syrian people’s ties to their state. This ultimately resulted in the fall of the Syrian state and the victory of Ahmad Al-Sharaa, who is now the current head of state in Syria. This happened precisely according to Israel’s playbook and strategic plans for the fragmentation and balkanization of Syria—naturally with strong involvement from Turkey and other Arab states, all under American leadership.
Parallel to this gradual weakening of Syria as a nation, Kurdish separatists received the help they needed to establish a self-declared autonomous administration, initially under direct military support and eventually under American occupation of Syria’s oil-rich regions.
Now, the time has come for Israel to move to the next phase—namely, to play with another piece: the Druze in Sweida and the border areas with the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. The goal of this Israeli-American geopolitical game has resulted in the de facto division of Syria into two parts: the autonomous Kurdish region and the rest of Syria. Now, everything indicates that something similar is happening in the Sweida region under a new label: the Druze of southern Syria.
Ahmad Al-Sharaa delivered a speech yesterday following a heavy Israeli bombing of a government building. He stated that Israel cannot divide Syria and that the Druze are an important part of Syria, and it is his government’s duty to protect them—not Israel’s. It remains to be seen how far he can go in defending Syria’s territorial integrity against Israel and the United States—something he is heavily dependent on due to the American promise to lift all economic sanctions against Syria.
It also remains to be seen how Turkey, which is the closest power broker to Ahmad Al-Sharaa, will react to the chaos they themselves have helped create. There have also been large demonstrations across Syria against Israel’s attacks on Syrian government buildings and state institutions. There are signs that the Syrian people will actively step in to defend Syria’s independence and territorial integrity against ruthless Israeli attacks in the country.
Ahmad Al-Sharaa faces difficult times ahead. On one hand, he is dependent on American support and reintegration into the global economy through the lifting of EU-American sanctions against Syria. On the other hand, he bears the responsibility as Syria’s leader to defend the country from Israeli aggression and plans to split Syria’s Druze population and merge them with the Golan, thereby expanding Israel’s ever-growing borders.
